Bulldogs Climb To #1 After Perfect Road Trip in Colorado

On Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Bulldogs capped off a dominant weekend in Colorado with a statement win over IGM, returning home with a perfect 4-0 record.

While speculation swirled about where they’d land in the national power rankings, the answer came Monday morning — and it sent the internet into a frenzy. For the first time in program history, the Bulldogs were ranked #1 in the nation.

It’s a milestone years in the making for the franchise, which last reached the championship game in 2019, narrowly falling to the Fort Wayne Vision 107–106 in a heartbreaking finish.

This season’s early success is being credited to head coach Nicole Charles, whose leadership and strategic adjustments have turned a talented roster into a powerhouse. Even more impressive, the Bulldogs pulled off their perfect Colorado run without several of their key players, including CJ Parker, Latrell Love, AJ Wilson, and others.

With a deep roster and championship-level focus, Coach Charles is quickly emerging as an early favorite for Coach of the Year honors — and the Bulldogs look every bit like a team ready to finish what they started back in 2019.
